The Cadence Community Association, in Henderson, Las Vegas is now booking food trucks for local appearances.

The organization has initiated a program to bring different food trucks to the area's 3,000 families, according to an 8 News Now report.

The group has set up an online booking site where food trucks, operating under a valid Henderson business license, can be booked to serve in community locations. Truck operators may also have the opportunity to be booked at local events such as a food and concert series.

"During this time, it is important that we continue supporting small businesses while still being safe," Cheryl Gowan, spokesperson for The LandWell Co., developer of Cadence, told the news outlet. "We are looking forward to bringing back some familiar trucks and welcoming new trucks to serve with us as well."
