Vermont town kicks off summer food truck event

Food Truck Sundays are happening in Swanton, Vermont and the kick-off event drew a robust crowd, according to a WCAX report.

The weekly event features food trucks as well as farmers market vendors every third Sunday and will run through September.

"Swanton is a great place. It's a homey, little community. There are a lot of wonderful people here," Darci Benoit, of the Swanton Economic Development Committee, told the news outlet. "I'm a local business owner, and I want people to realize Swanton is a great place to do business, and no matter what anyone says, Swanton is a great little place we have a lot to offer."
