Virginia food truck serving hospital workers via donation program

The Big Cheese food truck in Arlington, Virginia is helping feed those on the medical frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic through a unique donation program.

Those wanting to support healthcare workers can make a $10 donation on the truck's website and that will buy lunch for a hospital worker. This week the truck has already served up 50 sandwiches at Virginia Hospital Center, according to a ARLNow report.

The truck is also making stops in residential areas as well to drive revenue as business is down about 80% due to the pandemic.
