Washington drive-in restaurant chain launching food truck

September 17, 2020

Dick's Drive-In restaurants, based in Washington State, is launching a food truck and seeking insight on what local communities to serve.

The truck, currently in the build stage, will offer everything on the drive-in menu except for French fries, according to a Komo News report.

There are seven Dick's Drive-In stores located in Seattle, Edmonds and Kent. The restaurant chain is asking residents for input on where the truck should serve once it's on the road this Fall. Residents can share input by visiting here.

"When we built our restaurants in Edmonds and Kent, our customers helped us decide where those restaurants should be," Jasmine Donovan, president of Dick's Drive-In, told the news outlet. "And while it takes over a year to build each new restaurant, with the food truck, we can reach customers all over the Puget Sound region beginning this fall."
