Wichita pop-up park no longer a home for food trucks

The Pop-Up Park, on Douglas Avenue, in Wichita, Kansas, will soon be empty of food trucks.

The park, which had been a welcoming haven for trucks and community gatherings for the past five years, is going to be re-invented into a different space, according to a KWCH report.

One food truck operator called the closing taking place this week "bitter sweet," as she had started her business by operating in the park location.
