The Little Red food truck, which serves the Cadott area of Wisconsin, is all about family, learning and, of course, cheese.
The truck, owned and operated by Evah Hamilton, who also operates the Baby Bloomers Learning Center in the community, launched her mobile eatery after realizing the need for a grilled cheese sandwich truck, according to a Leader Telegram report.
"We want to offer something you don't see around the area very much in a food truck," Hamilton told the news outlet. "Everybody loves a good grilled cheese sandwich. And with this state being Wisconsin, we thought a product based around cheese would be a great fit. What could be better?"
In addition to a wide range of grilled cheese sandwiches the truck also offers treats, tomato soup and beverages.
The truck business also offered an opportunity for her family of two children to get social given the year of COVID-19 shutdowns and at-home learning.
"The main reason I started the business was because my kids attend school virtually," Hamilton told the news outlet. "Over the past year-and-a-half they haven't been able to be out much socially, so I wanted to give them a chance to get back out there and interact with people."
