The Parkersburg City Council plans to vote on the first reading of a revised mobile vending ordinance regulating food trucks, according to a report by The Parkersburg News and Sentinel.

The council initially voted on Aug. 25 to send it back to the Municipal Planning Commission in August following vendor concerns; now the updated draft adds extended hours, from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Monday and midnight on Friday and Saturday.

The draft also extends the quiet generator transition deadline to Memorial Day 2027 and increases the buffer zone around city-permitted events to 750 feet.
