The Food Pit food truck in Dayton, Ohio, has sparked controversy after making a social media post that its burgers were so good, "it really makes you wants to hit women," according to a report by ABC 6.

This isn't the first time the food truck has posted jokes of this nature, including a post stating that they "gave the colored kids colored smoothies." Due to the former post, it has been removed from the vendor list for an event called Dayton Porchfest.

Community members have claimed the food truck regularly makes posts that are misogynistic and racist.

In response, owners Austin Warman, Justin Hamilton and Michael Richards posted an apology online. Hamilton stated that they "never meant to hurt anybody with our jokes."

"We're learning; we're growing; we're trying to move forward, and we're open to any suggests," Warham stated in the online post.
